See once a combi is created it will act as single product and you can not separate those product so whaterver taxes you have to add has to be added at the time of creation.

Is there a chance to test the combi product component on my own site?
I would need to test how it performs with my ERP software (JTL-wawi).

The problem i have is that i need the combi product to have each products tax and show it properly on the invoice - this is important for the bookkeeping... otherwise it'd be useless for my purpsoe.

Joomfish: i am currently translating my product-descriptions to 4 different languages... i would need to translate the combi products as well...

Combi-product is the combination of products from the virtuemarts various categories and when a combo is created this combo is added to the virtuemart as a product in which you can add book price with tax (whatever you want) and dvd price.Final price is calculated i.e. site administrator can add the taxed price of books and dvd price and make the combi-product price manually.

Orders are stored as normally in virtuemarts table.

Hi, i have a few questions.

I have combos on my website now, but i just entered them manually... for example a package of book+DVD.

The problem i have now is that when exporting it to our bookkeeping, the book should have different tax than the DVD.

So, with combi-products, how will that work with an external application?
How are the orders stored? Is it VM standard, so will the external application be able to process the orders?? Will the according tax-values for each product be used?


Does the component support translations by Joomfish??

is it possible to configure the component that for example:

Combi product book+DVD --> add to cart
--> in cart or after checkout, you see a book and a DVD as seperate products, where each has a discount and each products tax is calculated at the end... the total price is the combi product's price...
