thank you... partly there however still not quite.
What it is now doing is when i select the products from the product list to create a combi product - it automatically imputs the quantity currently in stock and moves that amount to the combi product. deducting it from that products stock levels. This is no good and I can not see any real world application in which this could be used.
For example - If I have 10 pencils - 10 pens - 10 rulers - and 10 pencil cases in stock, I need to create a package that would include 2 pencils - 2 pens - 1 ruler and 1 pencil case to make a pencil case package.
I need the combi packaged product, on order, to deduct the Pencil/pens/rulers and pencil cases stock levels by the corresponding amount dedictated in the combi product settings.
I would still stock each of these items and sell each of these items individually.
Currently with this new update when i create a product using Pencils/pens/rulers and cases it takes all the stock available for those products and uses this amount as the quantity for each item in the package. For example If I have 10000 pencils in stock... and create a package using pencils it automaticlly using all 10000 pencills in stock for the package and will not let me adjust that amount. I dont need a package that combines 10000 pencils... I dont have pencil case large enough
What this componant should do... is give you the option of combining certain products in your product list. Specify the quantity of each product that will make up your desired package to sell. The quantity in stock should automatically be derived from the lowest stock levels available. And when that packaged product is ordered (NOT BEFORE AS IS HAPPENING WITH THIS NEW UPDATE) it reducses the stock levels of the products listed accordingly.
WE are really close here and am sorry for being a hound, but this componant currently is useless... it really does nothing that can not be done manually and just as easily. But when you have it working as I have descibed i can see many uses that would be greatly desired, and through my weeks of searhcing for a solution I know of many and unanswered thread on many forums asking for a componant that does just that.....
HEY ILL EVEN HELO YOU MARKET IT.... for a price
